We are ready for Spring! Are you?
The world may feel like it is anything but normal right now, but Mother Nature is still pressing on. Despite everything going on, our plants are noticing signs of spring and summer, and they're responding.
Our maintenance crews have been hard at work for the last few weeks making sure all of our customers are ready for warmer weather. We have a tried and true Landscape Maintenance Assessment that we use to determine what needs to be done on every customer's property (you can see that assessment here).
This article is helpful as a snapshot of the work we do in the early spring and summer. Here are a few of the things to think about as the seasons change:
This is when plants are really "waking up" from their dormant winter season and we see a lot of growth. It is our job to know the difference between good growth (plants, flowers, trees, etc) and bad growth (weeds, invasive plants, etc.). We make sure to identify anything that needs to be pruned or removed.
This is also the time to look for any damage that winter weather may have caused to your hardscape (flower beds, walkways, retaining walls, etc). Keeping an eye on small issues and finding solutions early can save you from a headache in the future.
Don't feel overwhelmed if you aren't ready for spring quite yet. You still have time! With our help, your property can be prepared for spring and ready to thrive over the summer. We use a proactive approach to make sure you can focus on business, and not frustrating landscape or hardscape issues.
